LDS Temple News Presents the Lindon Utah Temple Open House from March 12, 2026, through April 11, 2026. Prepare to be excited about the Lindon Utah Temple, a magnificent new addition that’s set to enrich the heart of our community! Nestled against the stunning Wasatch Mountains, this temple will be more than just a beautiful building; it will serve as a vibrant center of faith and connection for all.

The journey began on April 23, 2022, during a heartfelt groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. That day was filled with energy and optimism as shovels broke the ground, symbolizing the future blessings this temple will bring. Elder Pearson offered a moving prayer, asking for peace and unity within the community as this sacred space began to take shape.

Once completed, the Lindon Utah Temple will impress with its three-story design and over 87,005 square feet of beautifully crafted space. Just picture the elegant granite facade with striking double spires that soar towards the sky, exemplifying the faith that it represents. The architecture will celebrate the region’s agricultural heritage, featuring artistic elements inspired by the lovely linden tree flower, reflecting the soul of Lindon itself.

Inside, the temple promises tranquility and warmth with four spacious instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries. Each area will be thoughtfully designed to create an inviting environment for significant ceremonies and moments of personal reflection. It will be a place where individuals can deepen their faith and strengthen ties within the community.

But it doesn’t stop there! The landscaping around the temple will be just as charming, featuring a delightful gathering area in the northeast corner. This spot will be perfect for bridal parties wanting to capture stunning photos against the backdrop of the temple and the breathtaking Mt. Timpanogos. With parking wrapping around the site and framed by a stylish black ornamental fence, it will be easy and enjoyable for everyone to visit.

Mark your calendars for the public open house, happening from March 12 to April 11, 2026! This is your opportunity to explore the temple and experience its beauty and spirit before the grand dedication on May 3, 2026.

As the twenty-fifth temple built in Utah, the Lindon Utah Temple is set to be a hallmark of hope and unity for approximately 11,000 residents. Its presence will undoubtedly enhance community ties, bringing people together to celebrate their faith and shared values. This is not just a building; it’s a sanctuary where memories will be made and connections will flourish. Get ready to witness something truly special in Lindon—it’s going to be an incredible journey for us all!
