A Brief History

The journey toward this impressive site began with an announcement by Prophet Thomas S. Monson on April 2, 2011. Subsequently, excitement around the development culminated in a public open house from August 19 to September 10, 2016, where an impressive 105,000 individuals seized the opportunity to tour the facilities before the official dedication.

On October 16, 2016, the Temple was dedicated by Apostle Dieter F. Uchtdorf, marking a significant milestone in its history.

Architectural Features

Covering an expansive 15.69 acres, the Temple features beautiful beige concrete panels, blending elegantly with the surrounding landscape. Standing at an impressive height of 112 feet, its central tower is adorned with a stunning gold-leafed statue of Angel Moroni, which was installed on August 26, 2015.
