The inception of the Yorba Linda California Temple began on April 4, 2021. Less than a year later, on June 18, 2022, the groundbreaking and site dedication took place, led by Elder Mark A. Bragg, who remarked, “It is an honor to be here on this beautiful California summer day to dedicate this site for the construction of a sacred temple.” This moment marked the beginning of a project that would enrich the local area.

Spanning an impressive 30,872 square feet and constructed on 5.46 acres, the structure features a stunning exterior finish of white blanco macael marble, complemented by accents of pink and gray rosa porrino granite. The architectural design includes a single attached end tower, and it stands 70 feet high at an elevation of 361 feet.
Inside, visitors will find a harmonious blend of natural beauty and craftsmanship. The interior showcases Botticino Classico Extra marble, along with various other exquisite stones like Costa Esmeralda granite and Giallo Provenza marble. The decorative designs throughout the facility are inspired by the local landscape and historical Spanish Mission architecture, featuring 24-karat gold leaf accents in specific areas.
