Boggs.

By 2008, Church membership in Kansas and Missouri reached approximately 100,000, paving the way for the long-anticipated construction of a temple in the area.

Ground was broken for the Kansas City Missouri Temple on May 8, 2010, by Elder Ronald A. Rasband. Set on 8.05 acres, the temple features a stunning exterior made of precast concrete and is characterized by its unique double towers, topped with a gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni.
