LDS Templae News Presents the House of the Lord Farmington New Mexico Temple.

LDS Temple News is thrilled to share some exciting news about the upcoming Farmington, New Mexico, Temple! This will be just the second temple of its kind in the state for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Russell M. Nelson introduced this wonderful project back in April 2021, and we celebrated a big step forward with a groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Anthony D. Perkins on April 30, 2022. The new temple will be located on a lovely 6.62-acre site at the intersection of College Boulevard and Windsor Drive. This inviting single-story sanctuary will cover about 25,000 square feet and will include a community meetinghouse. The design of the temple beautifully reflects the local heritage, blending charming American influences with native plants to celebrate the vibrant culture of the surrounding community
