On a beautiful Saturday, April 16, 2022, Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong of the Quorum of the Seventy led the groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of an inspiring journey. This expansive 29,630 square foot Temple will embody both spiritual significance and natural beauty. Elder Wong’s dedicatory prayer, offered on the eve of Easter Sunday, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Atonement of Jesus Christ while dedicating this sacred space for generations to come.

A thrilling media day will take place on September 8, 2025, followed by two days of special tours just for invited guests, and then an open invitation for everyone from September 11 to September 27. The grand dedication celebration, led by President Jeffrey R. Holland on October 19, 2025, will be broadcast to all temple district units, bringing the community together in a joyous celebration.
