Announced on October 3, 2021, the Heber Valley Utah Temple is the result of inspired planning and dedication. The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on October 8, 2022, led by Prophet Russell M. Nelson during the General Conference later that year. This event marked a significant milestone in the temple’s journey, reflecting the faith and hope of those involved.
Architectural Features
The architectural design is nothing short of stunning. Spanning an impressive 18.17 acres, the layout includes two attached end towers, each contributing to the overall aesthetic. Notably, this Temple will not feature the traditional Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, offering a unique design perspective. With 87,626 square feet, the Heber Valley Utah Temple is classified as a large temple, embodying both grandeur and purpose.
Inside, there will be four instruction rooms and four sealing rooms, alongside a single baptistry. These facilities will support the various needs of its members, providing space for meaningful and transformative experiences.
