Architectural Features and Design
Encapsulating modern elegance, the Modesto California Temple is built on 17.63 acres of land, covering an impressive 30,000 square feet. Notably, it is a single-story structure that sits at an elevation of 81 feet.
Exterior Elements
The Temple features a unique architectural design characterized by a single attached end spire. Notably absent is the Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue.
- Art Glass: The exterior art glass showcases patterned blue-green glass framed with pale gold mullions. This beautiful glass can be seen in the dramatic arched windows of the steeple as well as the main entrance doors.
- Lighting: Designed to be backlit at night, the glass will cast a bright, glowing effect, enhancing its visual impact.
Interior Features
The Temple houses two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry, making it equipped for various functions that fulfill its intended purpose.
