The Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple, designated as the 211th temple in operation, is located at 3200 Avenida Alberto Pedro. This significant project was announced by Prophet Russell M. Nelson on April 5, 2020, capturing the attention of the community and members worldwide.
On February 9, 2022, the location was officially confirmed, accompanied by architectural renderings that illustrated the temple’s impressive design. The structure itself spans 19,000 square feet and consists of a single story, thoughtfully designed to service the spiritual needs of the congregation.
Additionally, the temple will house a distribution center, further enhancing its commitment to community support and service. Construction commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony on April 9, 2022, marking the beginning of a transformative journey for the area.
The temple opened its doors to the public during a scheduled open house from October 16 to November 1, 2025, allowing visitors to experience its serene environment. The culmination of this project was the official dedication of the Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple on November 23, 2025. This temple stands as a symbol of hope and unity, dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of the community and strengthening the bonds of faith.
