Following two years of anticipation, the groundbreaking took place on June 13, 1997, with Apostle Richard G. Scott leading the site dedication. The temple opened its doors to the public for a warm reception from August 29 to September 23, 2000, giving visitors a glimpse into its remarkable design and purpose.
On October 1, 2000, the temple was formally dedicated by Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, marking a significant moment for many.

Set on an impressive 8 acres atop a wooded granite hillside, this space is strategically positioned for visibility along the Concord Turnpike.
