Exciting news is on the horizon for the Coeur d’Alene community in Idaho! The Coeur d’Alene Idaho Temple is currently in the early planning stages, and even though we don’t have a groundbreaking date just yet, the buzz around this project is hard to ignore. Imagine the beauty and spiritual significance of a new house of the Lord nestled in the picturesque surroundings of northern Idaho!

While we’re eagerly awaiting the official rendering of the temple, and with the exact site location still under wraps, the excitement is palpable. Mark your calendars for October 6, 2024! It’s during the 194th Semiannual General Conference that President Russell M. Nelson unveiled the plans for this remarkable addition to our spiritual landscape.

With a vibrant population of over 50,000 residents in Coeur d’Alene and the nearby Spokane, Washington having its own temple, this new site will be the tenth temple announced for Idaho—what a remarkable milestone for the state! As anticipation builds, let’s come together and look forward to the blessings this temple will bring to our communities and beyond!
