LDS Temple News Presents Farmington New Mexico Temple

LDS Temple News proudly announces a significant milestone with the upcoming Farmington, New Mexico, Temple, which will stand as only the second of its kind in the state for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Russell M. Nelson unveiled this remarkable project in April 2021, and it took a major leap forward with a historic groundbreaking led by Elder Anthony D. Perkins on April 30, 2022. The new temple will occupy a stunning 6.62-acre site at the intersection of College Boulevard and Windsor Drive. This impressive single-story sanctuary will cover approximately 25,000 square feet and will feature a community meetinghouse. The meticulously designed temple honors local heritage, seamlessly blending American influences with native flora to capture the vibrant culture of the surrounding community.
