On Saturday, October 28, 2023, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fort Worth Texas Temple brought a wave of excitement to the community. Under the watchful eye of Elder Jose L. Alonso, a General Authority Seventy and First Counselor in the North America Southwest Area Presidency, the day was nothing short of inspiring. In his dedicatory prayer, Elder Alonso painted a vivid picture of gratitude, saying, “Our hearts are full of appreciation for the treasured gift of Thy Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Spanning about 9.37 acres just north of SW Hulen Street and Greenridge Drive in Burleson, the temple is set to stand tall as a beautiful single-story structure, roughly 30,000 square feet—perfect for welcoming the community with open arms!

This temple is the sixth one in Texas—a state bursting with over 360,000 Latter-day Saints!
