This beautiful Temple is nestled on a lovely 6.94-acre site at the lively intersection of Horizon Drive and North 12th Street, just a hop away from an Interstate 70 interchange. The location is just as lovely as the Temple itself! When the official exterior rendering was unveiled on September 17, 2021, it sparked sheer excitement about what was to come.
On a bright and sunny Saturday, April 16, 2022, Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong of the Quorum of the Seventy led the groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of an incredible new chapter. With an impressive 29,630 square feet of space, this Temple is designed to be both a place of spiritual significance and a beautiful reflection of the region. Elder Wong’s dedicatory prayer just before Easter Sunday radiated gratitude for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and dedicated this sacred ground for generations to come.
Save the date! There’s going to be an exciting media day on September 8, 2025, followed by two days of exclusive tours for invited guests. Then from September 11 to September 27, everyone will have the chance to come and experience it firsthand! The official dedication will take place on October 19, 2025, led by President Jeffrey R. Holland and celebrated far and wide across the temple district.
