Welcome to the Phoenix Arizona Temple, a beautiful and inviting place that holds a special spot in the hearts of many! As the 144th dedicated temple, it’s not just a stunning piece of architecture – it’s a place where people come to feel connected and uplifted.

Located at 5220 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, this temple is easily accessible for anyone wanting to soak in its peaceful atmosphere. The journey to creating this lovely temple began back on May 24, 2008, when Prophet Thomas S. Monson announced plans for it. He beautifully expressed that this holy house would be a place where everyone could feel God’s love and gain a better understanding of their own divine potential.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held on June 4, 2011, was an exciting moment, featuring Apostle Ronald A. Rasband who helped dedicate the site. After years of hard work, the public was invited to explore the temple during an open house from October 10 to November 1, 2014, allowing everyone to experience its special spirit before it was officially dedicated.

On November 16, 2014, the temple was dedicated by Prophet Thomas S. Monson, marking a joyous occasion for the community. With its impressive size of 64,870 square feet and a height of 90 feet, the temple is a sight to behold! It sits on 5.19 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, making it a lovely spot for reflection and peace. The exterior features eye-catching precast integral colored concrete panels, topped with a magnificent Angel Moroni statue that shines with golden leaf, which was placed atop the temple on May 15, 2013.

Inside, you’ll find two instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a serene baptistry—all designed to enhance your spiritual experience. Plus, there’s a charming chapel in the same parking lot that adds to the community-friendly vibe.

The Phoenix Arizona Temple is truly a place of love, hope, and faith. Whether you’re a local resident or just passing through, you’re warmly invited to visit and experience the welcoming spirit that lives here. It’s sure to leave a wonderful impression on your heart!
