The alters are crafted from white marble, and the assembly hall offers ample space for those attending various events.

A Rich History

The public open house was held from June 15 through July 8, 1989, drawing a remarkable 314,232 attendees. The Temple was officially dedicated over three days, from August 19 to August 21, 1989, by Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. Notably, on May 11, 1989, the Church installed the gold-leafed Angel Moroni, adding a special touch to the Temple’s overall splendor.
