Nestled in the charming town of Apex, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple stands as the 68th temple dedicated for use, marking a significant milestone in the region’s spiritual landscape. Located at 574 Bryan Dr, Apex, NC 27502, this temple has become a beacon of faith and Temple since its announcement on September 3, 1998.

The journey of the Raleigh North Carolina Temple began with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 6, 1999, led by Loren C. Dunn, setting the stage for a sacred space that would soon welcome thousands. The public had the opportunity to explore this magnificent Temple during its first open house, which ran from December 3rd to December 11th, 1999. Just a week later, the temple was officially dedicated over two glorious days from December 18th to 19th, 1999, by the beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley.

Fast forward two decades, and the Raleigh North Carolina Temple was ready for another momentous occasion—its second public open house from September 21st to September 28th, 2019. This event highlighted the enduring significance of the temple, which was rededicated on October 13, 2019, by Apostle M. Russell Ballard.

Covering 3.17 acres and boasting an impressive 12,864 square feet, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple features a stunning exterior of beige limestone, capturing the eyes and hearts of all who visit.
