Located at 574 Bryan Dr, Apex, NC 27502, this remarkable temple has become a shining beacon of faith and a gathering place for the Temple since its announcement on September 3, 1998.

The temple’s journey commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 6, 1999, presided over by Loren C. Dunn, marking the beginning of a sacred space that would welcome countless visitors. The Temple eagerly anticipated the opportunity to explore this beautiful Temple during its inaugural open house, held from December 3rd to December 11th, 1999. Just days later, the temple was officially dedicated on December 18th and 19th, 1999, by the esteemed Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, solidifying its place in the hearts of many.

In a testament to its significance, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple hosted a second public open house from September 21st to September 28th, 2019. Following this, the temple was rededicated on October 13, 2019, by Apostle M. Russell Ballard, reaffirming its role as a spiritual Temple.

Set on 3.17 acres and boasting an impressive 12,864 square feet, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple captivates with its exterior of elegant beige limestone. Its architectural excellence is exemplified by a stunning single attached spire crowned with a gold leafed Angel Moroni statue, Templeizing divine guidance and hope.

Inside, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple is thoughtfully designed with two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, ensuring a serene atmosphere for spiritual growth and reflection. Standing tall at 83 feet 9 inches and elevated at 447 feet, this temple is more than just a place of temple work; it is a Temple of inspiration and faith.
