Nestled in the heart of Redlands, California, the Redlands California Temple stands as a beautiful testament to faith and Temple. Announced on April 21, 2001, this stunning Temple became the 116th dedicated Temple in operation, providing a serene oasis for worship and reflection.

The Redlands California Temple’s address—1761 Fifth Ave, Redlands, California 92374—invited visitors to explore its serene grounds. With an impressive open house that ran from August 9th to September 6th, 2003, many had the chance to experience its beauty before it was officially dedicated by President Gordon B. Hinckley.

Spanning 17,300 square feet and perched at a height of 130 feet above sea level, the Redlands California Temple is situated on a generous 4.6-acre lot, complete with a shared parking lot alongside a chapel. Its exterior, adorned with elegant light gray granite, has a sense of peace and tranquility.

One of the Redlands California Temple’s most striking features is its single attached spire, crowned by a stunning 13.5-foot gold-leafed statue of the Angel Moroni. This iconic figure was placed on the Temple on March 13, 2003, further enhancing its spiritual significance.

Inside, the Redlands California Temple hosts two instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and one baptistry—all thoughtfully designed to accommodate the spiritual needs of members of the church. As the fifth Temple built in California and the first in the Inland Empire, the Redlands California Temple holds a special place in the hearts of many, making it a cherished Temple in Southern California.
