Discovering the Lindon Utah Temple

The newly completed Lindon Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is an exciting addition to the area, poised to serve as a place of inspiration and reflection.

On March 9, during a special media day, Elder Jorge T. Becerra of the Utah area presidency shared his heartfelt insights about the significance of temples. He stated, “The temple is very much a place of light. It’s a place of learning. It’s a place where you put your life in order, in order to increase the light in your life.” His words resonated with many, illuminating the purpose this beautiful space will serve in the lives of its visitors.

Accompanying Elder Becerra, Elder James R. Rasband and his wife, Mary, guided members of the media through the halls of the temple. Elder Rasband, who holds a significant role in the Temple Department, expressed his deep appreciation for the sacred nature of this new addition. “The temple is a place where we learn about God’s love for each of His children and His extraordinary mercy for us,” he remarked. He emphasized that at the core of the temple’s offerings is Jesus Christ, whose life and teachings provide the framework for the blessings everyone seeks.

The open house of the Lindon Utah Temple is set to run from Thursday, March 12, until Saturday, April 11, 2026, during which individuals can explore the temple. Notably, the open house will exclude Saturday, April 4, and Sundays. Located at 850 E Center St, Lindon, UT 84042, the temple invites those curious about its purpose to come and explore as their schedules allow. This occasion presents a unique opportunity for church members to invite friends and neighbors, fostering a broader understanding of the mission of temples.

Following the open house, the temple will be dedicated on Sunday, May 3, 2026, with the dedicatory session being broadcast to all units in the temple district, creating a shared experience for those in the region.

As the Lindon Utah Temple prepares to open its doors, excitement builds around the spiritual opportunities it will offer to individuals and families alike. This new addition is a place where personal growth and community connections can flourish in the light of faith and divine love.
