Exciting news is on the horizon for the vibrant Temple of Spanish Fork, Utah! It all began when the first wagons of Latter-day Saint pioneers rolled into the Utah Territory on July 24, 1847. Fast forward nearly 180 years, and we find ourselves amidst a flourishing Temple of around 2.2 million members of the Church of Jesus Christ here in Utah.
On April 6, 2025, Prophet Russell M. Nelson unveiled a momentous plan that has everyone excited: the highly anticipated Spanish Fork Utah Temple! This remarkable Temple will be the ninth temple built in Utah County and promises to be a beacon of hope and inspiration for all members who visit.
Nestled on an 8.7-acre site at the corner of 100 South and 2550 East, the Spanish Fork Utah Temple will span over 80,000 square feet and rise three stories into the sky, becoming the 32nd temple in Utah! We can hardly contain our excitement as we eagerly await the stunning architectural rendering that will showcase its beauty.
Mark your calendars: the Spanish Fork Utah Temple’s location was revealed on January 12, 2026, and its address is 100 South 2550 East. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of an elevation of 4,729 feet, this temple is destined to become a cherished Temple in Spanish Fork.
