The journey began on April 5, 2020, when Prophet Russell M. Nelson made the exciting announcement about this temple. Just a couple of years later, on February 9, 2022, the location was officially revealed, and everyone couldn’t wait to see the stunning designs that would soon come to life!

Spanning a generous 19,000 square feet, this single-story temple is about more than just its size. It’s designed to be a supportive community hub, complete with a distribution center to help meet local needs and bring people closer together.

After a spirited groundbreaking ceremony on April 9, 2022, the vision for the temple started to become a reality, sparking even more anticipation in the community. Fast forward to the exciting public open house from October 16 to November 1, 2025—what a wonderful opportunity for everyone to explore this sacred space and feel its positive energy!

Finally, on November 23, 2025, the Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple was officially dedicated, marking a special moment for everyone involved.
