LDS Temple News Presents the Farmington New Mexico Temple House of the Lord Holiness to the Lord.

LDS Temple News proudly announces a significant milestone with the upcoming Farmington, New Mexico, Temple. This temple will mark only the second of its kind in the state for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Russell M. Nelson unveiled this important project in April 2021, and it officially commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Anthony D. Perkins on April 30, 2022. Situated on an impressive 6.62-acre site at the intersection of College Boulevard and Windsor Drive, this single-story sanctuary will cover approximately 25,000 square feet and will feature a community meetinghouse. The temple’s design intentionally reflects local heritage, combining American influences with native flora to capture the vibrant culture of the surrounding community.
