The Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple is a truly special place, and we’re excited to share its story with you! This temple is the 211th to be dedicated, and it’s located at 3200 Avenida Alberto Pedro, making it a lovely addition to the community.
It all started on April 5, 2020, when Prophet Russell M. Nelson announced plans for this beautiful temple. Everyone was buzzing with excitement! Then, on February 9, 2022, we found out exactly where it would be placed, along with some stunning designs that brought the temple to life in our imaginations.
Covering an impressive 19,000 square feet, this single-story temple is designed to be both welcoming and functional. Plus, it will have a distribution center, which means it will offer even more support to those in the community!
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on April 9, 2022, and folks were eagerly looking forward to what was to come. After much anticipation, the temple opened its doors for a public open house from October 16 to November 1, 2025, allowing everyone to come in and explore its peaceful and inviting atmosphere.
Finally, the moment we’d all been waiting for arrived on November 23, 2025, when the Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple was officially dedicated! This temple is more than just a building; it’s a warm and welcoming place for all, filled with hope, love, and a sense of belonging right in the heart of Bahia Blanca. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy it!
