The announcement for the Redlands California Temple came on April 21, 2001, marking a pivotal moment for the area. On March 13, 2003, a gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue was installed on the single attached spire, enhancing the temple’s visual appeal. After years of anticipation, the temple’s open house ran from August 9 through September 6, 2003, providing a glimpse into its stunning interior before its dedication.
On November 8, 2003, the temple was dedicated by the Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, solidifying its importance within the faith.
