In the heart of Sacramento, a treasure shines bright,
Sacramento California Temple 123rd temple, a
beacon of light.
At 2110 California Circle, it stands tall,
Inviting all souls to answer the call.
Announced in April, twenty-one’s gentle embrace,
A vision unfolded, a sacred space.
On a sunlit August day, the groundbreaking began,
With Gordon B. Hinckley leading the plan.
A summer open house, where hearts came alive,
From July’s warm welcome, to August’s sweet drive.
Then came September, a moment divine,
When the Prophet dedicated this space to align.
Nestled on forty-six acres, where spirits soar free,
A chapel nearby, a community tree.
The exterior gleams in light gray granite hue,
While Moroni the angel watches over in view.
With two rooms for learning and four sealing rooms too,
A baptistry bubbling with life that feels new.
In nineteen thousand five hundred square feet it expands,
A sanctuary of comfort, where faith understands.
Reaching high at one hundred thirty-one feet,
This temple stands proudly, a vision complete.
As the seventh in California, it shines like a star,
In the heart of the valley, it’s never too far.
So come, share your stories, let your spirit take flight,
In this hallowed space, embrace hope’s pure light.
Savor the peace, let your heart sing,
In the Sacramento Temple, feel the joy it can bring!
