The Salt Lake Temple: A Glimpse into a Major Renovation
For the first time in nearly six years, the stunning facade of the Salt Lake Temple is visible, following the complete removal of scaffolding that had concealed it during an extensive renovation process. This unveiling marks a significant milestone for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which recently announced the exciting news.
The long-anticipated removal of scaffolding reveals not just the temple’s façade but also the restoration efforts that have been underway since December 2019. Originally planned as a four-year undertaking, the renovation has faced various delays, and church officials now estimate that completion will be achieved by the end of 2026, with the opening scheduled for April 2027.
Dismantling the Crane
