Stunning Interior Design

The artistry within the San Antonio Texas Temple is notably captivating. The art glass used throughout the building, combined with interior light fixtures made of brass, acrylic, and crystal, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The grand celestial and waiting rooms feature elaborate, heavy fixtures, including a prominent 700-pound chandelier.

Noteworthy art pieces include original murals by Keith Bond in the instruction rooms, illustrating scenes that reflect the life of Jesus Christ, enhancing the overall spiritual ambiance of the place.

Unique Artistic Touches

The exterior and internal art glass reflects local culture and history, with elements such as agate discovered on-site and fossilized red coral incorporated into the design. The Tree of Life windows in the Celestial Room beautifully represent the love of God and eternal life. Wheat motifs framed within other windows symbolize Christ as the Bread of Life and embody themes of preparedness and faith.
