This season, more areas of Temple Square are open for exploration as renovations continue, although the majestic Salt Lake Temple remains encased in scaffolding for restoration. Wondering when to catch the enchanting lights? Visit between 6 to 8 a.m. and again from 430 to 10 p.m. each day through January 1. The twinkling displays on Temple Square add to the festive atmosphere of downtown Salt Lake City, complemented by breathtaking sights like the giant Christmas tree at City Creek Center, the delightful holiday windows at Macy’s, the captivating installation “The Turning Season at Eccles Theater, and the joyful ice rink at Gallivan Center.

Plan your visit from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
