On April 7, 2024, an exciting announcement was made during the 194th Annual General Conference: President Russell M. Nelson revealed plans for the Lehi Utah Temple! This stunning temple will be located on a beautiful 22.48-acre site at the vibrant intersection of 3950 North and Center Street in Lehi, Utah.
Designed with a striking single attached central spire, the Lehi Utah Temple will stand out in architectural elegance. Notably, it will not feature the traditional gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni, setting it apart from many others.
Spanning an impressive 85,000 square feet and perched at an elevation of 4,085 feet, this temple will serve as a beacon of faith and community. Although a ground-breaking date has not yet been announced, the anticipation is palpable, especially with the temple rendering revealed to the public on February 24, 2025.
Lehi is nestled in Utah’s dynamic technology hub, lovingly referred to as Silicon Slopes. Remarkably, the Lehi Utah Temple will be the 30th temple announcde in the state. With nearly 2.2 million Latter-day Saints, comprising about two-thirds of Utah’s population, organized into more than 5,400 congregations, this temple promises to be a cherished spiritual home. Remarkably, the city itself has roots dating back to 1850 when pioneers first settled there, adding a rich historical layer to this vibrant community. The future is bright, and the Lehi Utah Temple will surely be a transformative symbol for all who visit!
