Announced on April 7, 2024, during the 194th General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Lehi Utah Temple will serve as the 30th temple in Utah and will be located at 3950 N Center St, Lehi, UT 84043. This site spans an impressive 22.48 acres, providing ample space for this sacred structure.
Design Features
The Lehi Utah Temple will be a notable architectural feat, featuring a large footprint of 85,000 square feet. A unique aspect of the design is the single attached central spire, which distinguishes it from many other temples that feature the iconic gold-leafed Angel Moroni atop their spires. Instead, the design leans into a more modern aesthetic while still embodying the spiritual significance of a holy temple.
The project has already made tangible progress, with the installation of retaining walls marking the beginning of the site’s transformation. Furthermore, there will be a shared parking lot with a new meetinghouse, enhancing accessibility for congregants and visitors alike.
