LDS Temple News Presents Lindon Utah Temple Open House from March 12, 2026, through April 11, 2026. Get ready to welcome a transformative addition to our community—the Lindon Utah Temple! This stunning new temple is set to be a vibrant symbol of faith and unity, beautifully situated against the breathtaking Wasatch Mountains.
We kicked off this exciting journey on April 23, 2022, with an inspiring groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. Picture that crisp spring morning where excitement filled the air as shovels broke ground. Elder Pearson’s heartfelt prayer highlighted the temple’s mission of bringing peace, love, and connection to the community, marking the beginning of something truly special.
Once completed, the Lindon Utah Temple will impress with its three stories and over 87,005 square feet of sacred space designed to inspire and uplift. As you approach the temple, you’ll be captivated by its granite exterior and majestic double spires that stretch towards the sky, symbolizing a connection between heaven and earth. The architecture pays tribute to the area’s agricultural roots, featuring artistic elements that celebrate the beloved linden tree flower.
Inside the temple, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere that invites all to gather. It will include four spacious instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries—each space designed for essential moments of reflection and growth in faith. Every detail makes this temple not just a building, but a sanctuary for personal and communal spirituality.
But there’s more to discover outside as well! The beautifully landscaped grounds will feature a picturesque gathering area in the northeast corner, perfect for bridal parties seeking memorable photographs with the temple and the majestic Mt. Timpanogos as their backdrop. The parking area will surround the temple, ensuring easy access for all.
Mark your calendars now! From March 12 to April 11, 2026, the public is invited to explore the temple during the open house, providing a fantastic opportunity to experience its beauty and spirit before it officially opens on May 3, 2026.
The Lindon Utah Temple is not just another building; it will be a hub of hope and connection for approximately 11,000 residents in the area. As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, it stands as a powerful reminder of faith and community. This temple will enhance the lives of many, bringing people together in celebration, reflection, and shared moments of joy. We can’t wait to see the positive impact this beautiful place will have on our community!
