Have you heard about the exciting new Lindon Utah Temple? It’s not just a building; it’s going to be a beautiful addition to our community and a wonderful place for everyone to gather and celebrate their faith!

The journey kicked off on April 23, 2022, with a heartwarming groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. Imagine the scene: a cool spring morning filled with smiles, shovels breaking ground, and Elder Pearson offering a prayer for peace and unity. It was a special moment that set the stage for something truly remarkable.

Once completed, this three-story temple will span over 87,005 square feet and feature those iconic double spires reaching for the sky. The exterior will be clad in gorgeous granite, making it not just a religious site but a stunning landmark that reflects the natural beauty of our area. Each artistic detail, inspired by the local linden tree flower, tells a story of our community’s rich agricultural roots.

Inside, you’ll find welcoming spaces designed for important moments in life—like four instruction rooms and four sealing rooms, plus two baptistries, all aimed at fostering a sense of connection and sacredness. It’s a place where you can reflect, celebrate, and strengthen your faith.

And the landscape around the temple is just as inviting! Picture a lovely gathering area in the northeast corner, perfect for brides wanting that dream photo opportunity against the stunning backdrop of the temple and Mt. Timpanogos. With parking wrapping around in a circle and framed by an elegant black ornamental fence, everything is designed to be user-friendly and beautiful.

Now here’s the best part: mark your calendars for the public open house from March 12 to April 11, 2026! This is your chance to explore the temple, meet others from the community, and soak in the spirit of this amazing place before its grand dedication on May 3, 2026.

As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, the Lindon Utah Temple will be a warm, inviting beacon for our community of about 11,000 people. It’s a space where we can all come together in joy, support, and faith. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to be part of something special—let’s celebrate this exciting new chapter together!
