Get ready to celebrate the upcoming Lindon Utah Temple—a fantastic new addition that’s set to become a cornerstone of our community! Nestled against the majestic Wasatch Mountains, this stunning temple isn’t just an architectural marvel; it’s a place where faith, hope, and unity come together.

The journey officially kicked off on April 23, 2022, during a momentous groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. This chilly spring morning was filled with excitement and anticipation as shovels broke the ground, marking the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for Lindon. Elder Pearson offered a heartfelt prayer, asking for blessings of peace and love for the community—a promise of all that this temple aims to be.

When completed, the Lindon Utah Temple will boast three impressive stories and over 87,005 square feet of sacred space. Imagine walking through the striking granite exterior, where the double spires gracefully reach for the sky, symbolizing the connection between heaven and earth. The architecture will beautifully reflect the area’s agricultural heritage, featuring artistic touches that celebrate the beloved linden tree flower.

Inside, visitors will discover a thoughtfully designed space that nurtures both the spirit and community connections. There will be four spacious instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries—all crafted to facilitate essential moments of reflection and commitment. Each room will exude warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere for all who enter.

But that’s not all! The landscaping surrounding the temple will include a charming gathering area in the northeast corner, perfect for bridal parties looking to capture stunning photos with both the temple and the breathtaking Mt. Timpanogos in the background. Plus, the circular parking layout will ensure easy access, while a stylish black ornamental fence frames the temple grounds to enhance the overall experience.

Mark your calendars for the public open house, running from March 12 to April 11, 2026! This is an exciting opportunity for everyone to explore the temple’s beauty and spirit before its grand dedication on May 3, 2026. It’s a chance to come together as a community, share in the joy, and create lasting memories.

As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, the Lindon Utah Temple will serve approximately 11,000 residents, becoming a powerful symbol of unity and faith. This temple promises to be an uplifting space where individuals and families can connect and grow spiritually. Don’t miss the chance to witness the magic as this wonderful addition comes to life—Lindon is on the brink of something truly spectacular!
