Get excited about the Lindon Utah Temple—a beautiful new addition to our community that’s sure to inspire and uplift! Nestled against the stunning Wasatch Mountains, this temple is set to become a cherished spiritual home for everyone.

The magical journey began on April 23, 2022, when Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area, led a heartfelt groundbreaking ceremony. Can you picture the warm, sunny morning filled with hope? As shovels turned the soil, everyone gathered together to mark the start of something truly special. Elder Pearson’s prayer beautifully expressed the wish for peace and blessings to flow from this sacred space.

Once completed, the Lindon Utah Temple will rise magnificently with three stories and about 87,005 square feet of warmth and love. The exterior will shine with beautiful granite, and the double spires will stretch high into the sky, inviting everyone in with open arms. You’ll also love how the design features lovely nods to our agricultural roots, celebrating the charming linden tree flower.

Inside, the temple will be a welcoming haven, complete with four spacious instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries—perfect for those meaningful moments in our lives. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to create a comforting and inviting atmosphere, making it a wonderful place for connection and reflection.

And let’s not forget about the beautiful landscaping! There will be a lovely gathering area in the northeast corner, ideal for bridal parties and family photos, set against the breathtaking backdrop of both the temple and Mt. Timpanogos. Plus, with convenient parking circling the temple, it will be easy for everyone to come and enjoy their time here.

Mark your calendars for the public open house from March 12 to April 11, 2026. This will be a fantastic opportunity to explore the temple, feel its spirit, and connect with others in the community before our big dedication celebration on May 3, 2026.

As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, the Lindon Utah Temple is really a beacon of hope and love for our community of about 11,000 people. It’s set to enrich lives and strengthen our ties as we gather together in joy and faith. We can’t wait to welcome you to this wonderful new space—it’s going to be something truly special for all of us!
