The Reno Nevada Temple stands as a beacon of faith and hope in the heart of Nevada. As the 81st dedicated Temple, it embodies a deep spiritual significance for countless individuals and families in the region. Located at 2000 Beaumont Parkway in Reno, this sacred Temple is not just a building; it is a Temple where memories are made and Temple work is completed by its patrons.

The journey to the Reno Nevada Temple began on April 12, 1999, when the announcement ignited excitement and anticipation within the Temple. This anticipation culminated on July 24, 1999, during the groundbreaking and site dedication conducted by Rex D. Pinegar, a moment that marked the beginning of a new chapter for many. From April 8th to the 15th, 2000, the doors opened for a public open house, welcoming everyone to experience the beauty and peace that the Temple promised.

When the Reno Nevada Temple was officially dedicated by Prophet Thomas S. Monson. With its exquisite exterior finish of gray granite quarried near Sharon, Vermont, the Temple stands as a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship that went into its creation. Its striking architectural feature—a single attached end spire topped with a gold leafed Angel Moroni statue—serves as a reminder of the heavenly aspirations of those patrons enter.
