Discover the Mesa Arizona Temple, an architectural marvel and a proud symbol of faith, right in the heart of Arizona! As the seventh dedicated temple currently in operation, it stands as a testament to community devotion and spiritual heritage at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204.

Announced on October 9, 1919, the temple has a profound history, culminating in a significant public open house held from October 16 to November 20, 2021, led by the esteemed Prophet Dallin H. Oaks. Encompassing 20 acres, the Mesa Arizona Temple invites all to experience its beauty and tranquility.

The temple’s exterior is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a sophisticated glazed eggshell finish reinforced with an impressive 130 tons of steel. Its flat roof adorned with sculpted friezes enhances its striking design, each frieze symbolizing Isaiah’s promise in the last days—adding a layer of spiritual significance that captivates all who gaze upon it.

Inside, the temple is thoughtfully designed with four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within an expansive 75,000 square feet. At a commanding height of 53 feet and situated at an elevation of 1,240 feet, the Mesa Arizona Temple holds the distinction of being the very first temple built in Arizona, solidifying its important role in the region’s religious landscape.

Formerly known as the Arizona Temple, this sacred site has gracefully evolved, transitioning from live performances to modern displays that resonate deeply with visitors.

The Mesa Arizona Temple is more than just a place of worship—it’s a powerful embodiment of faith, history, and inspiration. Come and experience the profound beauty of this remarkable temple!
