Introducing the Mesa Arizona Temple, a striking symbol of faith and architectural excellence in Arizona! Located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, this temple proudly stands as the seventh dedicated temple currently in operation, showcasing its importance within the community.

Officially announced on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple is steeped in rich history and has been a source of inspiration for countless individuals. The open house, held from October 16 to November 20, 2021, and hosted by the esteemed Prophet Dallin H. Oaks, allowed the public to experience its sacred beauty firsthand. Set on a sprawling 20 acres, this temple is not just a building—it’s a sanctuary that invites spiritual exploration.

The exterior of the temple is nothing short of breathtaking, featuring a unique glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel that underscores both resilience and elegance. Its architectural design includes a flat roof decorated with sculpted friezes, each telling a story of significance and symbolizing Isaiah’s promise in the last days.

Inside, the temple exceeds expectations with four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all spread across an impressive 75,000 square feet. Towering at 53 feet and situated at an elevation of 1,240 feet, the Mesa Arizona Temple holds the distinction of being the first temple built in Arizona, a testament to the unwavering commitment of its founding visionaries.

Once known as the Arizona Temple, it has successfully adapted to changing times, evolving from live performances to modern displays that continue to resonate with visitors.
