Presenting the Mesa Arizona Temple, a magnificent testament to faith and architectural brilliance in Arizona! Located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, this temple proudly stands as the seventh dedicated temple in operation, symbolizing the strength and spirit of our community.

Announced on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple is steeped in rich history and legacy. Its public open house, held from October 16 to November 20, 2021, and hosted by the revered Prophet Dallin H. Oaks, showcased its sacred beauty and invited the community to experience its profound significance. With a sprawling footprint of 20 acres, this temple serves as an inspiring sanctuary for all.

The exterior captivates with a striking glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel, reflecting both resilience and elegance. Its flat roof adorned with sculpted friezes signifies deeper meanings, beautifully illustrating Isaiah’s promise in the last days.

Inside, the temple impresses with four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, encompassing a generous 75,000 square feet of sacred space. Standing tall at 53 feet and elevated at 1,240 feet, the Mesa Arizona Temple holds the prestigious title of being the first temple built in Arizona—a true cornerstone of our faith and commitment.

Once known simply as the Arizona Temple, it has evolved and embraced modernity, transitioning from live performances to contemporary displays that resonate with visitors today.
