Landscaping and interior finishes are advancing rapidly, and we anticipate the construction will be completed by early to mid-2026. Announced on May 20, 2022, the Montpelier Idaho Temple will proudly stand as the eighth temple built in Idaho. Located at Washington St, Montpelier, ID 83254, its striking central tower will be a standout feature that symbolizes our community’s faith. The temple will encompass 27,000 square feet and will include two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry—creating a spacious and sacred environment for worship and gatherings.
Perched at an elevation of 5,969 feet and situated on 2.6 acres of picturesque land, this temple is designed to blend harmoniously with Idaho’s stunning landscape. The groundbreaking ceremony on June 17, 2023, led by Elder Ryan K. Olsen, marked a pivotal moment in this project, as he offered powerful blessings for all those involved, reinforcing our collective commitment to this important endeavor.
