This beautiful temple, announced on May 20, 2022, will be the eighth of its kind in Idaho. Located at Washington St, Montpelier, ID 83254, it’s hard to miss its striking single central tower that’s set to become a landmark for the area. Spanning 27,000 square feet, the temple will feature two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, serving as a welcoming haven for worship and reflection.

Situated at an elevation of 5,969 feet and occupying 2.6 acres, the Montpelier Idaho Temple promises to blend seamlessly with Idaho’s stunning landscapes. The groundbreaking ceremony on June 17, 2023, was a monumental event, led by Elder Ryan K. Olsen, who offered blessings for all those gathered.
