Welcome to the Moses Lake Washington Temple, the 182nd temple dedicated and in operation! This beautiful place of worship was announced by Prophet Russell M. Nelson during the 189th Annual General Conference, and since then, it has been a source of excitement and inspiration for many.

Just imagine: during its open house, an amazing 290,000 visitors came to see the temple! On September 17, 2023, it was officially dedicated by Apostle Quentin L. Cook, marking a significant moment for the community. The whole journey began on October 10, 2020, when Brother Stapleton conducted the groundbreaking; it laid the foundation for what has become a treasured spiritual haven.

Located on 17 picturesque acres of land, the Moses Lake Temple features a stunning single-story building that spans about 20,000 square feet, complete with a striking central spire. There’s also a spacious meetinghouse next to it, making it the perfect gathering place for members and visitors alike.

The temple shines with its exterior made of gorgeous Branco Cristal granite, sourced from Portugal, and it stands tall at 117 feet. Plus, at an elevation of 1,157 feet, it offers stunning views all around! Inside, you’ll find two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a welcoming baptistry, all designed to create a peaceful atmosphere.

One of the highlights is the charming blossom motif that decorates the temple, a lovely nod to the natural beauty of the area. The border pattern reflects the prairie-style design, paying tribute to the Native American heritage of the region, adding a heartfelt connection to both history and spirituality.

As you explore the interiors, you’ll discover elegant flooring made of marble, carpet, and porcelain tile, creating a warm and inviting space. The lovely art glass complements the temple’s design, bringing a sense of harmony and tranquility. The bronze and glass font railings are just the cherry on top!

Every detail is thoughtfully chosen, from the beautifully stained cherry doors to the stunning bronze and brass hardware. Don’t miss the celestial room, which boasts a beautifully designed ceiling with decorative paint and a lovely dome that enhances the awe-inspiring atmosphere.

The Moses Lake Washington Temple is more than just a building; it’s a place where faith, community, and cultural heritage come together in the most beautiful way. Everyone is welcome to come, explore, and find a moment of peace in its welcoming embrace!
