The official announcement occurred on April 7, 2019, initiating excitement among followers. Groundbreaking and Site Dedication took place on October 10, 2020, led by Brother Stapleton.
Public Open House and Dedication
An impressive public open house attracted around 290,000 attendees from August 4 through August 19, 2023. This event showcased the beauty and inspiring design of the Temple. Following this, the dedication occurred on September 17, 2023, officiated by Apostle Quentin L. Cook.

The rendering released on April 7, 2020, illustrated a single-story building encompassing approximately 20,000 square feet, embellished by a central spire. The total floor area of the Temple reaches 28,933 square feet, with a height of 117 feet at an elevation of 1,157 feet above sea level.
Exterior Features
The exterior is adorned with Branco Cristal granite, a stone quarried in Portugal, combining durable and elegant materials. Constructed using insulated concrete forms for the walls, the roof and spire feature robust steel elements.

Inside, aesthetic choices reflect a thoughtful design, incorporating elements like marble, carpet, and porcelain tile for the flooring. The interior art glass mirrors the exterior motif, maintaining the apple blossom theme alongside a prairie-style border pattern that pays homage to the Native Americans of the Moses Lake area.
