Welcome to the stunning Newport Beach California Temple, the 122nd temple dedicated in operation! Nestled at an elevation of 196 feet and stretching 90 feet in height, this architectural gem covers an impressive 17,800 square feet. It stands gracefully on an expansive 8.8 acres, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The temple’s address, 2300 Bonita Canyon Dr, Newport Beach, California 92660, marks a significant destination for many seekers of peace and inspiration. Announced on April 21, 2001, the journey to this sacred space began, culminating in the groundbreaking ceremony held on August 15, 2003, by Duane B. Gerrard.

The excitement peaked during the public open house from July 23 to August 20, 2005, allowing visitors to explore the temple before its formal dedication. Led by the beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, the temple was dedicated on August 28, 2005, marking a new chapter in the spiritual landscape of Southern California.

Draped in Salisbury pink granite sourced from North Carolina, the temple features a single attached tower crowned by a magnificent gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni, elegantly placed on January 13, 2005. Inside, you will find two instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and a serene baptistry, all designed to foster spiritual growth and reflection.

As the sixth temple built in California and the fourth in Southern California, the Newport Beach California Temple stands as a beacon of faith and community, inviting all who seek solace and inspiration.
