The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple prepares for its grand opening with a public open house starting April 23, 2026, culminating in a special dedication on June 7, 2026. This momentous announcement, made by President Russell M. Nelson on April 4, 2021, highlights the vibrant community of 154,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oregon.

Nestled at 3701 Corporate Way in Springfield, this beautiful temple graces 10.5 acres and showcases magnificent architecture with its soaring central spire, reaching 120 feet high. Inside, it offers sacred spaces, including two instructional rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within an inviting 30,000 square feet filled with peace and purpose.

The journey began on October 29, 2022, with the groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Valeri V. Cordón, symbolizing a new chapter for Latter-day Saints in an area rich in history since the first settlers arrived in 1887.
