Open house, dedication dates for Lindon Utah Temple announced

LDS Temple News is sharing the Lindon Utah Temple Open House from March 12, 2026, through April 11, 2026. Introducing the Lindon, Utah, Temple, an exciting new landmark poised to become a focal point of faith and community connection against the stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains.

The journey to this remarkable addition began on April 23, 2022, with an inspiring groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. That day was filled with anticipation and hope, as shovels broke ground amidst a crisp spring morning. Elder Pearson’s moving prayer set the tone for the temple, emphasizing its mission to foster peace, love, and unity in the community.

Once completed, the Lindon Utah Temple will stand three stories tall, encompassing over 87,005 square feet of sacred space thoughtfully designed to inspire all who enter. The temple’s striking granite exterior and majestic double spires serve as a powerful symbol of the connection between heaven and earth. Its architectural design pays homage to the region’s agricultural heritage while incorporating artistic elements that celebrate the unique beauty of the linden tree flower.

Inside, visitors will discover a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for reflection and spiritual growth. The temple will house four spacious instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries—each designed for important religious ceremonies and moments of personal significance. This attention to detail ensures the Lindon Utah Temple will be more than just a building; it will be a sanctuary for individuals and families seeking strength and solace.

The temple’s grounds will also be beautifully landscaped, featuring a picturesque gathering area in the northeast corner. This space will be ideal for bridal parties and photographers looking to capture unforgettable moments against the backdrop of the temple and the stunning Mt. Timpanogos. Ample parking will surround the temple, providing convenient access for all visitors.

Mark your calendars for the public open house from March 12 to April 11, 2026! This is a perfect opportunity for community members to explore and experience the temple’s beauty and spirit before its grand opening on May 3, 2026.

The Lindon Utah Temple is not just another structure; it will serve as a hub of hope and connection for approximately 11,000 residents in the area. As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, it stands as a testament to faith and community, promising to enrich lives and create shared moments of joy and reflection. The positive impact of this beautiful place is something we all eagerly anticipate as it brings together people in celebration and unity.
