From October 27 to December 16, 2023, the temple opened its doors for a public open house, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore its serene interiors and stunning architecture. Spanning 15.39 acres, the land for the temple was acquired in 2003 from the Niels Williamson family, descendants of Norwegian immigrants. The family’s legacy is cherished, with three representatives attending the groundbreaking, connecting the past with this new holy place.

With a single central spire reaching 218 feet high and clad in exquisite pedras salgadas granite from Portugal, the design captures both elegance and strength. Interestingly, this temple does not feature a gold-leafed Angel Moroni—a distinctive choice that adds to its uniqueness! Inside the temple, a total of 71,998 square feet unfolds, offering a thoughtfully designed sacred environment. Visitors are greeted by stunning Crema Marfil marble flooring, featuring intricate patterns that blend cream, red, green, and brown hues—all beautifully crafted with unique diamond shapes and cherry leaf borders.
