Located at 13600 Kruse Oaks Blvd, this temple is not only the 42nd dedicated temple in operation, but it also has a fascinating history. It was announced way back on April 7, 1984, but the real excitement started on September 30, 1986, when the groundbreaking took place, led by the beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley.
One of the coolest things about the temple is how many people came to see it during its public open house—from June 15 to July 8, 1989, a whopping 314,232 visitors came to explore! Talk about a warm welcome! It officially opened with a dedication from August 19 to 21, 1989, again with President Hinckley leading the way.

The grounds are adorned with Douglas fir trees, giving it a wonderful natural feel.
