The Raleigh North Carolina Temple is a wonderful place, being the 68th dedicated temple in operation. If you’re looking for a visit, you can find it at 574 Bryan Dr, Apex, North Carolina 27502. The temple was first announced on September 3, 1998, and the groundbreaking, along with the site dedication, took place on February 6, 1999, led by Loren C. Dunn.

If you’re interested in exploring the Raleigh North Carolina Temple’s beauty, it held its public open house from December 3rd to December 11th, 1999. The dedication ceremony happened shortly after, from December 18th to the 19th, 1999, conducted by the Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley.

Fast forward to recent years, and the Raleigh North Carolina Temple had a second public open house from September 21st to September 28th, 2019, followed by its second rededication on October 13, 2019, by Apostle M. Russell Ballard.

The beautiful Raleigh North Carolina Temple is built on 3.17 acres and features a stunning exterior of beige limestone. A lovely architectural highlight is its single attached spire topped with a gold leafed Angel Moroni statue. Inside, you’ll find two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry.

The Raleigh North Carolina Temple covers 12,864 square feet and stands at an impressive height of 83 feet 9 inches, all while sitting at an elevation of 447 feet. Fun fact: it is the first temple built in North Carolina! If you have the chance to visit, it’s definitely worth it!
