The Raleigh North Carolina Temple is a beautiful Temple and the 68th temple dedicated and in operation. If you’re looking to visit, you can find it at 574 Bryan Dr, Apex, North Carolina 27502.

This lovely Raleigh North Carolina Temple was announced on September 3, 1998, and its groundbreaking took place on February 6, 1999, led by Loren C. Dunn. There was a public open house from December 3rd to December 11th in 1999, giving many the chance to see its stunning design before its dedication on December 18th and 19th, 1999, by the Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley.

Fast forward to 2019, there was another chance to visit during the second public open house from September 21st to September 28th. The temple was rededicated on October 13, 2019, by Apostle M. Russell Ballard, making it an exciting time for the Temple!

Covering 3.17 acres, the temple features a lovely exterior finished in beige limestone, highlighted by a striking single attached spire topped with a gold leafed Angel Moroni Statue. Inside, you’ll find two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within its 12,864 square feet. The Raleigh North Carolina Temple stands tall at a height of 83 feet 9 inches and is situated at an elevation of 447 feet.

Notably, the Raleigh North Carolina Temple is special as it’s the very first one in North Carolina! If you haven’t yet experienced its beauty, it’s definitely worth a visit!
